I'd say there can be many types of vocal trance and they can fit into either progressive, melodic or uplifting..

Vocal Trance is simply trance with vocals...it's still just normal Trance.

yeah, what Tukan said... vocals don't "qualify" trance as this or thta type... haha..silly idea.
i mean, "Hide U" is a very famous vocal track, but it's originally a drum 'n bass song, and "U Don't Know Me" is another big vocal track, but it's house...

what makes trance progressive or melodic or whatever else is the way the percussion, basslines, melodies, fx, etc. are arangd, not whether there's a bimbo-sounding chick layin down the cheddah or not..ya know?
