Exclamation One days work - Something a little bit Vandit

I went to sleep last night with this falling melody playing in my head . . .

Sample: Clickety Click

I've emphasised the higher plucked melodies and filtered some other bits for now. It's at 138 BPM and I've done away with claps, keeping in more of the punch.

There's some elements not quite worked out yet but you'll get the general idea. Cheers for looking & listening!

The intro melody was pretty close to "when the rush comes", but once the main melody hit, I was digging it. Cool man, keep working it out.

I hadn't realised but you're right, the two-tone key change at 1:04 and the vocal pads do sound similar. Thanks for checking!

Glad you like it mate, I'll tighten it up in the next few weeks and post a new link.

Thanks for all the notes!

I've brought in a Steve Helstrip clap, added a compressed breakbeat element to the breakdown, replaced the snares with a 909 and added pitch bend, rearranged the chord pads and added some filter, stretched out some of the bass chords and removed some portamento from the low basses, added some fancy little plucks here and there and had a bash at mixing it down.

Okay, new sample ...

Sample: New Version
