Want to run Linux on it? Here's the download and install guide to get it going. If u have to ask why run Linux on my PS3, well shame on u. You can use different builds but this one seems to be the most popular (YDL) and is built specifically for the PS3.

I run YDL and ubuntu on it. It is a bit of a pain in the **** that you can't get flash tho.

Easier just using the comp I am currently typing on really.

yes I'm running this and using VLC media player to watch downloaded vids on. I was using my Xbox (original) with xbmc to watch the vids but I like having the 1080p upconvert vs the 1080i on the Xbox. I set up a name on PSN, but I haven't messed with it too much. Name is Elucidator.
