On the 25th of April 2009 - Luminosity Events Foundation will blow the roof off in the city center of Amsterdam! Since it began in 2007, Luminosity has built a strong reputation for quality music, world class DJ talent and a roof raising atmosphere. Providing a fresh sound injection of dance-floor artillery to the NL club scene, Luminosity has become one of the fastest growing new nights in the country. After a storming 1.5 year, 2009 looks set to be even better with some exclusive DJ line ups and enormous events planned.
After their succesfull anniversary special last year, this edition Luminosity chose to do something different location wise. The intimate Akhnaton located in the city center of amsterdam is the place to be.
Kyau & Albert (Euphonic, Kyau & Albert) 
With Kyau & Albert, two artists have been booked who are counted among the most successful German Trance-DJs. DJ sets throughout Europe, Asia, South and North America are speaking for themselves. Plus, they were voted for the third time in series among the world's best one hundred DJs (DJ-Mag Top 100 Voting). But Kyau & Albert are not only being sought after as DJs; Their productions ("Save Me“, "Are You Fine?“ and "Neo Love“) and remixes (among others for Paul van Dyk, Kosheen or Above & Beyond) feature in sets of Paul van Dyk, Tiësto, Armin van Buuren and others.
Additionally they are running the label Euphonic which is one of the world's best labels for trance music.
Ernesto vs Bastian (High Contrast, Ernesto vs Bastian) 
Dutch DJ/production outfit Ernesto and Bastian have been in the scene for over 10 years with proven success. The have performed at many massive events including the famous annual Trance Energy bash by ID&T, last year they even had the honour of producing the Trance Energy Anthem. One of their most significant past releases was Dark Side of the Moon which was banged out in sets by the biggest djs of the trance scene.
It helped put them on the map and attract the support of well-known artists such as Judge Jules. A twist of fate led them to meet at work and by chance they showed the same interest in music and Ernesto & Bastian were born.
Jon O'Bir (Vandit, Jon O'Bir) 
Jon O’Bir’s life changed back in September 2002 when he won a DJ competition for Passion and M8 magazine, beating 300 other aspiring DJ’s! UK Super brand Godskitchen offered the talented trancer a residency soon after and the prospect of a fledging career as Britain's next DJ sensation. Six years and thousands of air miles later, Jon has become one of the most highly regarded trance Dj’s on the planet! None other than the legendary Paul van Dyk has signed Jon’s first artist album ‘From Within’ to his huge record label Vandit. The album saw a worldwide release in July and is being followed by a world tour that has already visited Love Parade in Germany, Cream Amnesia in Ibiza, Energy 2008 in Switzerland, and next up is Amsterdam!
