Im a little stuck..

can someone give me guidance on how to make that sound that aly & fila use in there remix of shine on..
-- its the sound thats used on the buildup and the break down with the delay on it... haha i cant think of any other way to explain it :S -- i guess you could say the main sound..

they also use it in some of there other tracks i think also lost language...

ill upload a sample if needed when i get home from work

im trying to make it on thor with nooo luck!

is it even possible to make it on thor ?

the sound at 1:52... now i do admit they're two different sounds...
this one is probably more the one im after...

its the sound at 1:25 secs into the song when it first says shinnee on...

the main riff going on at that point in time
it follows the first four beats of that bar and so on...

its also at around 3:23 its there again in the main break although different notes..

any help on how to make that sound would be appreciated..

Are you refering to the main hook? :S

That's a sine saw-type sound, I think.

Or are you refering to the clap? Take clap, add massive reverb and compress the living hell out of it.

At lost language , its probaly few sawtooths , maybe a sine is included too , through a low pass filter.. probaly.

Just sounds like 1 sawtooth wave. fast attack and decay for snappy pluck. Mess with the filter envelope to shape the sound.

There are chords being played. Thats what gives it the sound. Now eq and and filter until you get the same timbre. easy really. A very standard pluck.

Try using bandpass filters etc to get a mid-range heavy sound.

Thor has a hidden knob called Analog. Turn it up a bit.

I nearly got it with just a saw and a pusle only using 1 voice with the saw and 2 voices with the pulse pitch pulse down 1 octave a band pass filter and then just find the right amount of reverb and delay and its nearly there.

I used sylenth 1.

yeop ... but more so the main hook in the lost language track..

because the shine on track has a similar sound but not exactly what im trying to create..

the lost language one sounds almost grainy ?

its been used alot in trance songs..
