Just had a listen, will relay my comments. Please bare in mind, some of these comments will be personal taste.
I'm not a great fan of the kick, felt it needed a bit more low-end to sit more with the bassline. I'll use an example, because that always helps me get a better understand of what people mean. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HfWleCXK5Wk Is what stuck in my mind when I was listening to your track.
Not a fan of the closed hi-hat that's introduced at 26secs that sits on the 1st and 5th, doesn't sit well for me.
As Fredrik pointed out, like the ambience also and the neat little flicks, it fills it out nicely and keeps your ear.
Bassline sounds slightly old-style Tiesto esque. Could do with a little more groove / complexity, but that's purely my opinion. Maybe some cheeky twitches on it, during bar ends to add some human element to it.
Percussion sits well, not too much, but possibly too little. Could do with some more elements to fill the hi frequencies a bit more. Again, purely personal taste on that one.
As you highlighted, the transition at 2:19 seems a bit quick and rushed, to be honest. I think the main aim is to build it slightly, but obviously not too much and then drop it right down, in view of building it back up again. It kinda sits on the same level and doesn't build as such.
Love the main synth that comes in, however I don't like the key. It has an old skool type feel to it and instantly grabbed me. It tries to come across as melodic though, which I didn't feel was right for the sound.
Brutal, but honest; Scrap the Piano, it ruins the tone in my view.
Perhaps some Breakbeat or heavy sub-bass drum flicks during the build, to add some depth to the building sound.
I hope this helps.
