Yeah, I think Mr. Mills is going to cop a lot of criticism for that one (albeit costly) fuck-up, but I thought he was one of the better players out there. I would certainly prefer him to Gary Neville on the back of that performance anyway.....
As for the rest of them, Ashley Cole porved one again what a good attacking player he is (with those incising runs) but what a crap defender he is (when he completely missed the ball in his own box and allowed Henrik Larsson a free shot on goal), Heskey proved he isn't a midfielder (though he did some useful things, especially down back),Darius Vasell showed a lot of promise (why did they sub him?) but Michael Owen hardly touched the ball, David Beckham did alright in the first half but was rightly subbed in the second, Sol Campbell and Rio Ferdinand were solid in defence, Owen Hargreaves was okay, Paul Scholes was shocking but the midfield was totally beaten overall, Seaman was solid and made a number of good saves, Dyer did nothing after coming on and Joe Cole did enough to say that he may be starting on the left next week.
So was that the longest sentense ever or what?
And one more thing, if England don't get a point against Argentina then that's probably it for them.
Bring back Matt Le Tissier!

I agree, it is a drastic PATHETIC MIDFIELD!
England are missing Steven Gerrard through Injury. He is the best English midfielder, and has been supplying throughballs to Michael Owen since Owen was 11 years Old!!!!!! So he is the only player who can give Owen that decent killer through ball!!!!! Which would mean plenty of Goals.
Gerrard is the English version of Zidane.
LMAO @ Heskey playing in the midfield.
Sven should of given Fowler a chance, and start him next to Owen and I'd put Southgate instead of Danny Mills.

Yep, also with Gerrard in we could put Hargreaves on the left where he belongs instead of that shit clumsy twat Heskey, it would also mean one of the worlds best tacklers in our midfield (Gerrard is good at everything and in Euro 2004 & next world cup he will rule!)
