ahp2002 - Tribute To Bonzai Records (XL Edition) [Trance/Prog/Tech]

Tribute 2 Bonzai Records

Hi all, another mix from, another tribute to Bonzai Records this time longer and with much better sound quality. The best older tracks combined in one mix. Starting with hardtek progressive at the start with and slowly evolving into a more uplifting mix (but always with a dark underground side). Special attention is needed for tracks like Magnetix - Sleep Little Angel (a quality tune from L-Vee), the massive Fire & Ice Mix of Exodus and the superb Push Mix of DJ Wout - The Truth. You can't get much closer to heaven during that track. Furthermore the mix ends with a mindcrushing M.I.K.E. Mix that really impresses me. Anyway, I hope you have as much fun listening as I had making this mix. Feedback is very appreciated!

Tracklist
1. V-One - Dead Cities (Return Of The Native Mix)
2. M.I.K.E. - Got To Have It
3. Return Of The Native - Orion
4. Ramirez - Hablando (Push Mix)
5. Sunscreem - Exodus (Fire & Ice Remix)
6. Magnetix - Sleep Little Angel
7. The Lounge - Shades
8. Green Martian - Industry (Durango 95 Remix)
9. Fun-Tastic - Inside Your Soul (Fire & Ice Mix)
10. Extreme Trax - Final Fantasy
11. Yves DeRuyter - Music Non Stop (Push Mix)
12. The Blackmaster - Time Never Stops
13. Aldo M. - Interfuse (Calling The Freak Rework)
14. Worf - Fear (Beeper Mix)
15. DJ Wout - The Truth (Push Mix)
16. DJ PMC - Subplate (M.I.K.E. Mix)

yeah we have holidays in The Netherlands at the moment and i'm in a Bonzai mood. And afterwards I liked the trackselection of the first mix, but the sound level dropped a bit during the set. This set is quite alot better, but enjoy both anyway and looking forward to your feedback

Still awesome tracks after all those years..
Wasn't familiar with the Magnetix track, good stuff (only knew the A side).

Thanks for compiling these tribute mixes!

great set!

mmmmmmm.......V-One.....one of my favorite LV aliases. Nice transition into the MIKE song, though I do not care for this particular MIKE production very much.

Nice recovery on the transition to Orion. Feels like this mix is starting to pick up with this one. Nice mix into Hablando as well, which is a fantastic tune.

Excellent transition into Exodus. THIS song really takes me back

Pretty solid transition into the Magnetix track as well, almost missed it.

Spaced for a while...whatever song this is with the flute and sax is hittin the spot for me. Good old fashioned trance music - I am really enjoying how a lot of this stuff isn't overly "uplifting" like the "trance" that is prevalent now.

Nice set overall, good mixing, nice track selection. Really brings back some memories...unfortunately most of them are rather embarassing.
