Pioneer DJM-3000 - upfader bleed through issue

Hey guys, I own a 3000 and I frequently run into a problem where the upfaders for channels 1 through 4 will get "stuck" in a state where they are all the way down at 0 and there is a significant amount of volume still coming through on that channel.

Cause: I found the cause to be pressing down too hard on the upfader knob while mixing

The Fix: Press down into the mixer on the left or right side of said upfader knob w/ the volume down at 0 until the issue resolves

Has anyone else seen this on the 3000? Or maybe its an issue with all Pioneer mixers, I'm not sure

Many Pioneer mixers bleed with age, and many do not have replaceable faders, unlike other brands. These are the primary reasons I don't like their mixers.

That happened to my old DJM3000. I still own that mixer but I never fixed it. I remember there was a fix for it on the Pioneer forums but i don't remember exactly what it is. Mine also sometimes only have sound on the left or right channel of the master volume. My fix for that is to tap the mixer or put it on mono! lol

was a common problem with the faders coming unseated in the 3000. Unscrew the face plate, pull out each fader and put it back in. should only take you a couple of minutes to do

thanks Mark, I'll remember to try your fix the next time I run into this issue. Kinda puzzles you when you are trying to cue a track at 0 but you can hear it on the main/floor and monitors instead of just your headphones...
