1. Two teens posted a video on YouTube of them abusing their cat late last night.
2. People on reddit/digg/4chan saw the video.
3. No less than two hours later, the /b/rothers had found out the kid's name, address, telephone number and school along with his parents' names and their work numbers.
4. The local police, his parents and local news media were contacted hundreds of times.
5. All the videos are down, along with their accounts suspended, he's on the front page of the local TV station's website, and he's being investigated by the local sheriff. Oh, and his Mom took his dirt bike away. All less than 24 hours later.
Moral of the story: don't piss off 4chan (and don't abuse cats).
