Every year i go to ultra i bring a camera and every year they try and stop me, last time..about 3 years ago, i had to pull my military ID out and tell them that i was on leave from Afghanistan witch was total BS since i was stationed in spain at the time but thats what i had to do just to get a camera in..does anyone know of a better way..i hate not being able to take pics of all the fun ewe have there, and there is no good reason for them not to let people in with them, right?.. so i guess what iam asking is if anyone knows off hand what were allowed to bring in there with us and what were not allowed..thanks..

I put it in my shoe before hurt my foot for a bit but was worth it once I got in.

i wore cargo shorts and put my camera in a side pocket with no problem.

I put it under my nut sack along with various other things in 04

last year i wore it like a necklace backwards tho....so it was hanging in the middle of my back....no problem!

Smart thing to do & i do this every time Ive gone. Look for the line that has the youngest person working it & take a backpak & put a jacket, a phone or some girls stuff & put your camera in your pockets.
You can even take a pouch around your waste. When you get to the front just open the main pocket & stash stuff in a back pocket of the pouch. They never search it. As long as you open it & show thwm they won't hassle you.

When you go thru the line with bags they only check your bag & don't bother checking your pockets. Ive also snuck in a big 32 oz water bottles 2 years & one 32 oz bottle water of liquor in the last 3 years that ive gone. They check your bag & forget about patting you down.

Its not that hard.

They don't allow cameras at Ultra? That's surprising to me and the first time I've heard of this. Thank god for this thread!

Seriously.
The way I did it last years was with a pouch. I put cell phone, wallet & some small stuff & stashed other stuff in my pockets. I opened my front pocket of my pouch & he took a glance & what I had & didn't even pat me down or search my pockets. at the same time I was carrying a big water bottle. I stashed it on my back side of my shorts & put my shirt over it. He never knew it was there.

A couple of years ago I snuck a large 190 octane drink from fat Tuesday. That was hilarious. As I walked away & pulled it out of my pocket & kept drinking it. Some people looked at me & were like where are they serving those drinks. When I told them I snuck it in they were like "you lucky mother******". LOL!

Be creative & not to obvious.

its a total money grab.....they sell those cheap disposable ones for like 15 bucks inside....LOL
