Just a thought while I was getting ready for work. I know this is a bit far fetched, but anything that is truly fantastic takes a lot of hard work.
What about having a "Tranceaddict World Party" Basically what I was thinking was for TA (Swamper et al) to organize a 2-3 day party with all the best Trance DJ's and get as many TA's from across the world to come and have one huge mofo party! I know about all the big festivals in Europe and everything, but I'm sure if there was a once in a lifetime event with all the most incredible DJ's, TA's from all over the world would come to the party.
Does anyone think this is a good idea or so impossible to plan that it's just a pipedream??

it would be a pipedream for something here in toronto.
we dont have a venue big enough for all the "best" trance djs.
also, the amount of money required to organize event of this size would not be a worthwhile investment if it was for tranceaddict's only as it would most definitely lose money.
and for someone to believe that people will fly halfway around the world for a single event is ridiculous. 99% of people would not do it because they could eventually see the same djs for much less. and if you bring up WMC, well, thats a different story because there is much more going on in miami that week than just a single event.

Thousands of people fly to Amsterdam for Trance Energy every year for 1 single event. Me included
I think it would be an amazing idea, but sadly I don't think it would happen. Maybe if TA originated in the UK or EU somewhere, there could have been a shot about 10 years ago, but not today.

Trance Energy and other festival-like parties did not pop up over night..they took years of growth to reach what they are now.
