Can anyone tell me how to export audio from SuperCollider? There's a "record" button and I've clicked it but I don't see how to play back the audio I've recorded or export it to an actual audio file. I've gone Googling and it doesn't look like this question has even been addressed on the SuperCollider mailing lists, so I'm guessing this is something stupidly obvious that I've missed. But I can't figure it out and it's frustrating me.

Anybody?

SuperCollider is a text-based sound programming environment. I'm currently using it to synthesize cymbal noises, but I can't figure out how to export anything...

Heh. I was going to warn you about creating quantum singularities that could trap you in a parallel dimension and ask that you be extra careful about creating a black-hole that could swallow the universe. (that would suck - get it? suck? black-hole?)

I had no idea it was a programming environment.

Have you tried CSound? Or Max/MSP? Those are two environments that sound coders get a boner for. I'm a coder by profession and a music producer by hobby, and even I don't want to combine the two.
