This Saturday night I'm playing with dear friend, and one of my House Music influences, Joplin. Her music is some of the grooviest, funkiest, most quality House Music out there. She rocks and I'm so excited to share the night with her.
The Doheny is a private club in Downtown LA's South Park (near the new Nokia). The entrance is just south of Olympic on Flower (you will see a 'Private Party' sign - then if you look to the right, a red carpet). This club costs $5,000 to become a member, but luckily they give the DJ's have a free RSVP list for the night! So come check this place out. They have very unique drinks, a great patio where the music is set up with an intimate dance floor. BEST thing about the place is that because it is private, they don't stop serving until the party is over...even if that means NEVER!
