torq connectiv + traktor vinyls + traktor scratch = ?
= profit i think.
i'm getting sick of the torq software- it's ugly, and with the new versions with all the bells and whistles it skips horrendously, every track, on multiple occasions.
so i procured a copy of traktor scratch and configured scratch mode with ASIO4ALL drivers (with the connectiv interface) and used the TORQ control vinyls and... it works. at half the BPM than usual, but it works nonetheless. turning the RPM on my decks to 45RPM makes the average BPM around 105 and @ 90RPM it's around 180.
so i'm inclined to believe that if i use timecoded traktor scratch vinyls instead of the connectiv ones, i'll be able to use the traktor scratch software and run it through the connectiv, saving me hundreds of dollars on an Audio8 interface. anyone have any input/experience?
