New car project i am working on, my custom pistons
Doing some work for a friend of mine. He was too cheap to buy low compression pistons, so i took matters in my own hands.

That will result in a HUGE fail. Please post pics of the holes that get burned through the piston. There is a heat coating over the piston so it doesnt melt. You removed it.

Now you prepare that Fetzer valve with some 3-in-1 oil and some gauze pads. And I'm gonna need 'bout ten quarts of anti-freeze, preferably Prestone. No, no make that Quaker State.

I dont think it would be a MAJOR fail.
The pistons would still work, but you would have different compression in different chambers. It would prolly make the motor sound like its misfiring, when its not LOL.
I am sure it would run for a few thousand miles before the piston actually began to melt up. The only reason i would assume this is because i have seen pistons run w/o coating. I know people back in the day used to weld bigger dome's on motorcycles and just slap it in the bike and run it. Sometimes they would balance them sometimes they would not. And they would run the bikes fine, some of these bikes had 14+ compression, yet they still ran fine. So if at 14+ compression they can run fine, i doubt a few psi would spell disaster.
I know eventually the piston would have to give in, but it would last for a little while...

You can pull some of that off on old stuff, but these new cars/bikes are so computer controlled that it will fail...not sure how epic but Id like to know.
