I've been looking for an internal PCI sound card with coax input and a balanced output via jacks or xlr (via jack-xlr adaptor) so I can connect my mixer to the soudcard for recording and get a decent sound output from the balanced output jacks. Does anyone know of any decent soundcards with those components, or could anyone link me to any decent ones?

I dont want to use an external soundcard because the only itnerface I could use is USB, and the bandwidth of USB isn't as good as PCI, as far as I'm aware at least. I also don't have firewire on my motherboard.

you could look into pro audio soundcards, like the delta 1010

it's rackmount, not internal, but connects to your computer via PCI
