Is there an EQ with stright cutoff? Like, say you want to cut 500hz to 1000khz, but you want 1001khz and 499hz completely uneffected, and everything between them completely level at a lower volume.
So in this image at 500hz to 1000khz every hert is exactly 12 db, while the rest is 0db [an example] every Eq ive tried has a curve, if i cut 500hz it doesn't actually reach 12 untill like 550hz or something [this make any sense?]
I want the EQ wavform to be a square not a sine :P
Ive tried waves and fl eqs to no avail.

well for instance your daw eq say ableton against Waves plugins..
There obviously not going to be the same quality as waves are in the very expensive side...
so do you think they will sound the same i don't
