I've wanted this for years. I would help lead the charge if Texas watned to secede

We'd lose. We have no basis in law for legal secession, so it would come to war when we broke illegally, which we tried to do before and failed.

Better to stay in and devastate Congress with 10 senators instead of just 2 when we DO legally break into 5 mini-Texases.

i love how everyone gathers that Perry said we are going to secede. He never said that. he just told the Fed to get the fuck out of our business and that Texas can handle itself. i know the underlying idea to this is Texas seceding but Perry never said it.
