I saw half of last night's episode. Their ninja "experts" were gay. I can tell from the way those clowns use the weapons that they have little formal training.

I know they're not the same show, but watching this just made me wish they brought back Human Weapon.

They had a lot more coverage worthy material to last beyond the two seasons that History Channel allowed them.

I agree with their fight analysis though. A ninja in a face to face fight with a Spartan would be disadvantaged because of all that brass. However, the ninja experts failed to mention that attacking the Spartan's exposed hand and arm, the one that holds the weapon, would be an effective strategy.

Oh and for the record, a weighted chain can go through that brass armor. I've easily put holes through metal garbage cans.

Aren't/Weren't Ninja's more of the Assassin type (I.E. Sneak up on your enemy and kill him from behind)? I really wonder how they'd do in a face to face confrontation with a more 'conventional' warrior?

did anyone notice that in the "simulated" fight, the ninja did not use the black egg? Hard to kick someone in the chest when you are blind

The samurai vs viking was better.

the pirate one next week looks gay. I mean they have fucking guns.

spartans also fought in formations, not one on one.

good show, tons of missed angles.

all of those big, armored types are only good for defense/survival imo.

i've tried watching this show, but can never make it through a single episode without switching the channel. Feels like they exaggerate everything, and their modern-day analysis of the different weapons is so outta place. Watching them measure the exact force of a flying dagger hitting someone in the chest ... you can't take seriously. There's no such thing as a "deadliest" warrior - they were all deadly and all fought the way they best knew how to fight. It's like asking, oh who would win - a karate guy or a kickboxer? Or what about a lion vs a tiger? Or 10 midgets against a gladiator!
