nice mix, pretty stompin, but a bit "unoriginal" - has a heavy PvD influence (at least 1st half the mix).. but you had Cristalle, which is one of my all time favs, so thanx for the fun hour |
Thanks for the input.
I know about the whole PvD in the beginning. It was something I was really trying to avoid, but I'd try other tracks and other mixes but I couldn't find any mixes that really stuck with me and that I liked.

Johnny Bravo: I know exactly what you mean about the "unorginality" thing. It's not easy to find good records out there that doesn't fit in the "everybody's heard it" category. Therefore a lot of mixes get really unoriginal and maybe too commercial and boring. I don't really have the time to listen through a lot of tunes (plus I don't have a local record store where I can go and listen) therefore I often buy what I know is good (based on me downloading the song because of a recommendation, and liking it) or from a certain label or artist that I know is quality. Right now I'm kind of experiencing this with "S.H.O.K.K." tracks & remixes, about 75% of my hardtrance tracks have something to do with S.H.O.K.K. This makes my mixes very predictable and unoriginal.
For me, I think the only way to "cure" this is to devote more time to the music, download more tunes & listen more. Well... maybe I get some more spare time to do this when summer is over.
