Ok, I'm looking to go on vacation somewhere this summer and I'm thinking seriously about Hawaii. Can anyone suggest where to stay, what to see, is there anything happening there? Any info would be better then what I gather so farr.

Each island is different. Are you going alone, with friends, an SO... ?

I really dont' know where to go that what him asking! I'll maybe go with a Friends looking to relax, surf, spend some time on the beaches but also would like to visit and see the culture.

Maui is probably my fav. The Road to Hana is one of the most amazing experiences I've ever done (don't take a helicopter over it though; drive it!). The Big Island is nice for a handful of great beaches, but the vog was pretty bad when I went last year. South Point is really cool though, as well as checking out Kīlauea.

I'd recommend checking out Wikitravel to find what best fits you.

Maui is more laid back and a romantic getaway.
The big island is good for golfing, hiking and volcanic rocks.
Oahu is like a big city, but if you have a car, you can easily find places to go that are off the beaten path.
