PSP Vintage Warmer in FL

yo guys, so i recently got the PSP vintage warmer (v 2) and love the sound, but for some reason in fl when i apply it to a fx channel the whole channels quantitization seems to get fucked up, I have to move the blocks forward in the piano roll to compensate and its really annoying, anyone know why this happens?

You have to set the manual delay compensation(bottom of the mixer channel) to 46.9 milliseconds (at least that is my delay when i use it)

edit: milliseconds not seconds lol

Unlike virtually every other DAW... FL doesn't have automatic plugin delay compensation.

My Korg synths have a similar problem, it will never play the first note during the first looping of the pattern, but each other time when it passes though, it'll play the whole sample. But then again this happens in pattern mode so its not that bad.

This response brings two thoughts to my mind.

1) If disabling this only benefits the program and doesn't have any downside then why offer this option in the first place? It would make no sense to offer an option that deliberately cripples the program. So i would think that enabling this option has certain benefits and disabling it has other benefits. It would be interesting to know what those are.

2) From reading the manual it seems like disabling this option only lessens the issue and does not solve it. Quote "Uncheck for faster, less glitchy response when changing song position."

Just some thoughts

haha man, every time I see an FL thread I curiously check it out (as I was a user of around 5 years) and once I know its a PDC issue, hardware or otherwise, you always beat me to the point
