03. Paul Loraine – Pins and Needles [Foundation Records]
04. Lee Jones – Every Click Matters [Aus Music]
05. Onur Ozer – Sahara [Groove]
06. Luca Bacchetti – El Matador (Dub Mix) [Ovum Recordings]
07. Dub Kult – Krug [Thinner]

09. Patrick Zigon – Autottude [Galaktika Records]
10. Alex Jones – Bed [Hypercolour]

This is my first mix so I could really use some feedback! The mixing is sloppy but it was mixed on an unfamiliar system so I could get a proper recording (thanks Chris). 2x Tech 1210, DJM400, Serato. Watch out for the wreck mid way through.
Please post any thoughts. Thanks and enjoy.
Dan

Got to listen to this as it was being recorded. Definitely a solid selection of music here. Get in!

I listened to this on the car today.
This kind of music is not really my cup of tea but I did enjoyed your set for the most part. As you said, there were a few mixing errors here and there but nothing unbearable
I think the most noticeable one was on the first transition. I think it was beatmatched properly but the incoming track was a beat behind. Not sure. Anyways, I see you are aware of this so no point in discussing that really
The only complaint I have with this is that it gets a bit monotonous, I wish you didn't wait until the 45th minute mark to bang the fuck out of the set. Those last 15 minutes were definitely my favorite part of the set, along with your intro track, which was sex. I think it would've worked great for a two hour set, but since your is only an hour long it kinda feels "incomplete". Like there should have been more coming, I don't know.
I guess what I'm saying is make a longer set next time so you have more room to develop the mood.
I'm down, will give it a whirl when I get a chance. Sadly, I've kind of fallen off the DJ Promo bandwagon as of late.

I await more mixes from you.
Thanks Oscar, much appreciated.
When I listened to it again I realized it was all pitched down too low. That first track was really hard to mix out of.
I wanted to keep it under 80 mins so I could hand it out to a couple local promoters... the next mix will be a 2+ hours.
Thanks again guys.

Levels is...decent...damn better than a lot of the shite dominating the charts at the moment. It sounds absolutely nothing like...a billion and one similar tracks in this big-room style. I always had a soft spot.

Finishing this as I am writing. I liked the tracks you selected. IT certainly wasn't a "by the numbers" mix as are so many today - in respect to the music within. It was more eclectic than I thought and came as a nice surprise to me. The mixing, however, does need some improvement. Main issue I noticed is that the beats were not matched in several cases. You should work on improving that because you obviously have a good taste in terms of the music.
