Review/Videos: The Crystal Method @ The Guvernment (05/08//09)
I went in with reasonably high expectations and came away still impressed. Had a great time. There was a perfect amount of people there - lots of breathing room but was still filled out nicely. It's a shame the crowd didn't move much. It was a diverse bunch like The Prodigy show.
Danger did a good job opening things up. It was so weird being at guv so early. We got there at around 7:30 and it was really dead! Slowly bure surely the crowd formed.
TCM' track list hit a lot of their big songs - Busy Child, Keep Hope Alive, Blowout etc but they left out Name of the Game. You can't have it all I guess. Even though they didn't incorporate guv's lasers they still had a great light show.
My only complaint was that it was too loud.. damn near deafening and some spots. Why didn't I bring my plugs!?
