If you include VSTs as well ,
Z3ta , Massive , Sylenth1 and Gladiator is pretty good ..

600USD? Have no idea really, but i remember seeing it for 800 some years ago (im talking about the desktop version not the full on keyboard). Get the Clavia second hand too from ebay , its a damn good synth especialy its raw sound. It might not have all the functions which Virus and MicroQ have but the oscillators sounds fucking great.
Dry pure strong full resoluted wamr (!)
Virus stuff can be done with VST anyway.

Virus Ti wont give you anyhting (soundwise) that the virus c and waldorf already give you.
Personally i would get a nord 2x or 2 (second hand maybe). A moog LP and maybe something a bit oldskool like the juno 106. Would be cheaper than buying a virus and would give you a much much wider pallete of sounds + better resale value.

Im watching nordlead 2x demos and youre probably right...
I always liked how the nordlead sounded too, but virus was just too awesome lol
dilemma between selling my virus c and getting the ti or getting nordlead i guess..

imo the virus is all in the efex, which is perfectly possible with the nord lead too when mixed with VST efex only have better ground to build it on. imo. i wouldnt even think twice, if i ever get a synth again it will be a Clavia (im waiting for a TI version from them).
