I was with the same difficulty to find a nice chorus and a flanger plugin (In my case I'm on Logic 8)
So I found Bluecat's Audio "free" plugs. The most powerful and homogeneous chrorus and flanger plugins I ever see. It's like a chrorus and flanger fx on a synthesizer, very solid.
