SPRINGFIELD,Ohio (WDTN) - Springfield officers said they caught a mom having sex in her car while her two young children, ages three and one, were in the back seat.
Danica Wallace, 24, was in a Clark County courtroom Monday, May 18 answering to several charges including child endangering, public indecency, drug paraphernalia and driving while intoxicated.
According to police, Wallace told the officer she pulled over to have sex with a 29-year-old man because they couldn't have sex at a friends home.
But outside the courtroom, Wallace said it was a misunderstanding.
"I was not having sex in the car, I promise" she said." "I spilled beer all over my pants and when I went to change my pants, the police pulled up and said that I was engaged in sex with my kids in the back seat."
Wallace admitted to drinking, and failed a field sobriety test. Police found open beer bottles and marijuana residue in her car. Wallace said she is getting an attorney to fight the public indecency charges.
"I'm not a bad mother, really," said Wallace. "I do admit I was drinking with my kids in the car."
