At first I could not stand the idea of it - and still I would not use it for my personal life.

But I've found out how useful it can be in business, in terms of putting your brand in front of important people. You can also use it to create content that search engines pick up that you want the public to see when searching for your company.

I just set up my profile today but have now found that the site is very fucking buggy. On my end, my profile picture won't upload even though it's a valid format and the site tells me that the picture has been uploaded.

I've heard far worse though, such as users losing all their contacts that took months to build up.

Any other TA's use Twitter and if so has anyone encountered any problems (by chance the profile picture problem specifically??)?

Everytime I hear the word "Tweeting" or "twittering" on ESPN, or any other major media outlet as headline/official news, I feel like choking a puppy.

Like if we really need another website that tells us what people are doing at that very moment.

I totally feel the same way, it's really, really annoying. But if it can help my business I have to give it a shot. My competitors seem to be using it effectively which drives me nuts!

BTW I seem to have fixed the profile image problem by doing on a Mac instead of a PC. Weird.

its good if ur a celeb and want to be connected to ur fans or promote ur products/evnets/music etc other than that lame
