How Important Is It?

Grabbing the listener of your set with the first two tracks. Not just unique tracks but mixed in a way the will make them instantly tune inn for the long haul. I have to plug my own set here mates. The first mix speaks for itself on this one.

To answer your question.

If you post your first mix THEN your right.
Then the listener doesn't know your taste-skills yet.
So then it's important to grab their attention.

But ones your listeners have heard a couple of your mixes ,it has lil value.
Cos then they know what your all about as dj.

I think the most important thing to do is:
1] Post genre of the mix [So listeners know what type of music it is]
2] Post a track list [So they can see if the mix has tracks-Artists they like]

3] your point but imho points 1-2 are more important
Cos it's those points that might get people interested to pres play
You first need to get them interested enough to get em to pres play
With all the dj's these days ,thats the most important

Your trick as in the question is also a way to lure curious dudes in
But i think you get more listeners if you follow points 1-2

I pressed play on your mix anyway hihi
Nice [Lounge] Chill out house mix there

Skipped through it and it seems to be well put together and my sort of thing so I'd be down to give it a full go.
