when looking at a multi meter in logic it has a meter that says correlation... -1 +1

usually its plus 1

what does that correlation thing mean ? ?

How close the two stereo channels are to each other. It shouldn't be + or - 1 since + would mean exactly the same and - would mean completely out of phase with each other.

I'm pretty sure, -1 is out of phase, 0 is is nuetral, and +1 is wide. The meter determines the stereo width. -1 is in most cases not good, and plus 1 just means its wide, 0 means its narrow (or mono?). Thats the way I learned it anyway.

+1 doesn't mean its wide... 1 means its mono (completely in phase) 0 means no correlation, you would never get that I don't think. -1 means its completely out of phase, which you might describe as "wide"
