We are so happy to announce, our 3rd annual outdoor gathering, Orb Festival 2009! It will take place at “The New Echo Lake Resort Campground” in upstate New York on July 9th through the 12th. Welcome to an even bigger and better festival that will feature some of the best electronic artists on the globe. Top notch decoration specializing in massive psychedelic installations, with 2 stages, one featuring full psy and the other top underground electro ambient and minimal techno. Along with the music you can enjoy our unique flea market, tribal drum circles, yoga, meditation, workshops, kids area, designated swimming area, boating, main festival fire and food circles including vegetarian and vegan food.

After producing 2 Orb Festivals and 6 years of events in NYC, Alladin project has developed the professional experience that promises for a well planned and highly produced 4 day festival with an international team specializing in the production and organization of quality events.

Echo Lake is a secluded spring-fed lake in the middle of a pine forest three hours away from Manhattan in upstate NY. It's an amazing magical forest on top of a wide lake, with plenty of parking space and a well maintained camping site that also provides economy cabins available for rent.

Come and experience the purity of nature and the divine waves of sounds floating around the water, creating an amazing cosmic energy that brings people together.

Echo Lake is a beautiful resort in upstate N.Y., three hours away from Manhattan.

Situated around a secluded spring-fed lake in the midst of a magical pine forest, plenty of parking, a well maintained camping site and economy cabins available for rent.

Echo Lake has hosted many music festivals over the years, including the last 2 annual Orb gatherings.

A perfect setting for great music and memorable times!



Rules and Regulations Top ^

Rules and Regulations:

* Upon arrival you will be asked to sign a regulations form stating that you understand the rules and regulations of the site and event.

* All attendees will be issued a wristband which must be worn visibly on the wrist at all times.

* Every person is responsible for his own action. Please respect others!

* Please always remember to treat this unique piece of earth with respect and care!

* Cars will be allowed to enter the site ONLY for unloading and uploading, there will be a few designated spots that will be used as a parking lot. Further driving access between your car and the camp site will be allowed by special requests only, to be made at the welcome center.

* If you are smoking. The ideal thing to collect your cigarette butts in an portable ashtray, please do not litter.

* Please Pick up after yourselves! Garbage disposal will be available in the welcome center for a reasonable price. All other trash is your responsibility, if you pack it in you must pack it out. This is a leave no trace event, respect the nature.

* If you really want to bring your dog with you, make sure he is friendly, always take care of him and clean up after him. Dogs are not allowed to run free at the festival, due to the surrounding nature.

* No open fires! In the summer season, there is high risk of fire hazards, open fires are strictly forbidden! Fires in proper fire pits only are your responsibility to tend properly. Fire performers must be approved before for authorization.

* Orb festival is not held responsible for any lost, stolen, or damaged belongings during the course of the festival.

* No Littering, No Alcohol, No Drugs, No fireworks, No firearms, or weapons of any kind permitted on the festival grounds.

**Good vibes allowed and required. Public intoxication or contraband will be cause for expulsion.

Please follow these driving regulations for your safety

Remember to follow all local driving rules and regulations including wearing your seat belt and obeying the local speed limits; its no fun getting pulled over. Be aware of road signs.

Try to maintain a low profile and respect the locals, this is their home and we are their guests.

Remember that there's no re-entry once inside, so make sure to bring ALL you need.



These rules apply to all vehicles once inside the entry gate:

* You will be welcomed at the welcome center/gate by crew members who will give you exact instructions including parking, unloading, and admission procedures. Please follow their directions and cooperate to ensure a speedy and safe entry.

* Cars will be allowed to enter the site ONLY for unloading and uploading; there will be a few designated spots that will be used as a parking lot.

* Please don't hang out in the parking lot.

* Speed limit in the campground is 10 MPH.

* Please try to avoid arriving late night, its easier to set up your tent when you can actually see your poles.

* Please use extra caution when driving at night, remember to keep a watchful eye for your fellow friends with your headlights on. No high beams please.



BUS Transportation & RideShare:

We have added a RideShare page in order to coordinate better your transportation. Please submit your details, and specify if you're looking for a ride, or can offer a ride. If we have enough people from one city, then a commercial bus rental will be provided.

There are buses from CoachUSA running from Port Authority bus terminal, 42nd St. & 8th Ave. to Binghamton, near by Afton.

A round trip bus ticket costs $65.00. For all those who are arriving from other cities use http://www.greyhound.com/home.asp service,

There wont be a shuttle bus pick up service from Binghamton to the site. Instead if you plan on using the Coach USA or Greyhound services we will provide a car service number which should cost no more than $20 from Binghamton to Afton, NY.

Camping Tips Top ^

The camping site will be open on Thursday July 9th at 12PM until Sunday 8PM, July 12th.

The spacious camp site is equipped with all facilities needed. We are making great efforts to make it as convenient for you as possible: hot showers, water sinks, clean and flushable restrooms and extra porta potties. Bring your tents and camping gears and create your individual space for the weekend. Please always follow the instructions of the parking crew.


Recommended essential preparations to enjoy your weekend even more... Good preparation enhances the anticipation and guarantees a perfect party weekend. Often it’s the small things, which make life much easier.


As you will stay for three days and nights outdoors, it will be smart to have the following gear at hand:

· Tent and camping gear.

· Sleeping bag, blankets, chairs, and mats.

· Flashlights and batteries.

· Warm clothes for the nights.

· Portable ashtray.

· Water container.

· Sun block SPF 15.

· Insect repellent and insect bite medicine.

· Swimsuit and towel.

· Condoms.

· First aid.

· Prescription medication.

· Earplugs.

· Musical instruments, costumes for yourself. Decorations for your camp.

· Your ticket or paypal receipt for the festival, ID, and cash. No ATM


Please remember to leave all unnecessary, precious items at home, which you anyway won't need at the festival. Come with fewer luggages to keep yourself free to party, to dance, and enjoy the activities. The less you bring, the less you have to look after! Let's not forget we all have to keep this beautiful space in its shape. Please always remember to treat this unique piece of earth with respect! Bring yourself and your talents, costumes, musical instruments and share freely with everyone. Attend workshops, and actively explore the opportunities available.



When you arrive and get settled, introduce yourself to your neighbors. You will share the space for quite a few days, starting a kind of network within your neighborhood makes your camp safe and comfortable.

· If you need professional advice there is always the info area or the First Aid tent.
