I think a lot of people including me will think , because your young that this will be a very amature production and therefore rubbish.

And errr ... how wrong was i.

The only thing i can point out , is to widen certain parts , stereo seperate it , would give it a nice wide feeling.

But overall it great.

unless this is someone elses mix that your passing off as your own hehe

great job

Sounds pretty good but honestly this kind of music triggers my gag reflex. What part did you play in this "remix?" I know young producers are notorious for taking pre-existing tracks, adding something trivial to it and maybe changing the arrangement, then putting their name on it. Did you build this from scratch? Where did you get the vocals and guitar sample?

The only part that I didn't make was the vocals. The guitar is from a VSTi. I arranged the rest.

Waht's up I like this mix of your it sounds real good.

I just think the overall track has too much mid-range and high-end white noise. plus i think your bass sound needs a cut somewhere around 200-500hz its just a tad too "muddy"

but its awesome good jam!

Thank you!

I wish Meriter would expand upon what he meant. Did the presumption that my changes to the original were trivial "trigger his gag reflex", or was it the style of music that disppointed?

This is the original, by the way:

To refute the criticism that young producers make insignificant changes, I didn't use any similar instruments or even the same chord progression.

yah that guy needs to go find an emo forum to post on. remixing is as much work as any original and a lot of times i work twice as hard on them
