hey guys since the numark dj io only has rca outs, which rca cables should i opt to get the least quality loss, or any basic ones will do? i just want to get the best sound possible with my setup, unfortunately the dj io dosent have any blanced outs, was low on budget so just opted for it.. planning to add a stealth controller later. btw are there any dj io user's here? what do u guys think of it as a external soundcard / for digital dj setup? good enough for a starter?

I run 2 RCA's from my DJM-400 to my RP-6's. They sound fine, just use some better gauge RCA's (not flimsy little RCA's that are thrown in when you buy a DVD player or something). Unfortunately RCA's aren't balanced, so no matter how good of a cable you get, it won't change that fact.

Remember too, if you only need about 6-feet of cable to get from the mixer to the monitor, the signal degradation should be minimal. So you don't need the best of the best cable to get the best sound that the RCA's can produce.

yea ur right, it probably wont, but i didnt wanna spend more on something i may or may not do,

Also, if you are using a laptop with a 3-prong power cable you might need to get one of those 3-prong to 2-prong adapters to get rid of the hissing.
