At the present time, the only advantage of the TI2 vs TI is the "25% more power". Their marketing may fool some, but they will both run the same v3.0 software. The Polar/Keyboard's only advantage is the attached keyboard, and the Snow has a single DSP (1/2 the polyphony), and the Virus|Control software only allows for four different sounds (aside for its obvious physical differences). |
ya thats only US shipping and when converting to CAN dollar and paying taxes in the end itll be the same as used in long and mcquade store here 
but about the version 2, people say they might upgrade future software which will show the new capabilities of it...... is this possible?

In addition to that, the TI|2 hardware is also a lot lighter than the "old" TI's. I have a TI Polar and it's freakin' heavy!
