Why Persians are in LA
First of all, Bas, if you want to do something. Erase the thread just like you have erased my threads in the past. Don't close it.
Second of all, most Persians immigrated here after the revolution in 1979. If your President Carter would have backed up the Shah of Iran, maybe there wouldn't be many of them here. Then your country wouldn't give so many of them political assulym.
Yes, my background is Persian. However, I have never been to Iran, nor do others think it is safe for me to go there. Being Jewish doesn't help me out much either.

No one is telling anyone anything. And all mods police a lil differently than others.

And re: Armenians. The OG Hyestansi Armenians are the ones that are distinct. There are some Persian Armenians (Armenians that grew up/live in Iran) that aren't so bad. Plenty of other type of Armenians, but no one's have as much Armo pride than those Hyestansis
