Smiley DJ Gabriel & Dresden - Tracking Treasure Down (Unofficial 2009 Tomo Mix)

Totally forgot that I had these vocals and so I figured its about time someone remixed this as a tribute to Gabriel and Dresden. I wouldn't know what to call this sound, progressive minimal trance? Anyways I really hope I didn't just ruin a classic. Please give me some feedback.

Thanks for listening,
-Tom

craftmanship and mixing is pretty good.

i just dont feel like it adds much to the original. the background is also kinda flat- it doesnt have much movement. i feel like the straight 8ths just arent workin. also, i feel like those piano chords are a little off

but thats personal preference - its a decent track and well made.

Wow, its weird but when I woke up this morning the track seemed to sound a lot different to me. Maybe not as great as I thought yesterday. Guess I should stop working on music half awake at night, lol. Looks like I have a bit of refining to do. Solarsound you're totally right and I totally agree. Thanks for the insight.
