Auto Tune VST or Stand Alone

Which is a good one to use? Preferably free?

I mean auto tune for vocals of course.

Easy to use interface might also be welcome.

You can't get much easier than that.

Don't buy Autotune or Melodyne, they are a waste of money. Buy Cubase or Sonar; they both have this functionality built into the wave editor, which is about 100 metric ninjatonnes better than Autotune and Melodyne plugins.

$199 Cubase Studio 5 EDU
$240 Melodyne Plugin EDU
$279 Autotune Evo EDU

Cheaper to buy an entire DAW. lol.

Bugga! Well then...

$299 Cubase 5 EDU
$240 Melodyne Plugin EDU
$279 Autotune Evo EDU

$20 more than Autotune and $60 more than Melodyne... I think my argument still holds.

Educational cubase can suck a dick and die. Apparently you cant import cubase sx files and via versa. They are pretty much exactly the same, which makes me quite mad.

AWESOME!!! I use it in every vocal track and it is wondrous to have a feature like this natively. Auto-Tune and Melodyne are still great for hardcore editing and to do things in great detail.

Cubase's VariAudio can fulfill 90% of what the typical person needs.
