Will give it a chance, although under the pretense that anything else in comparison to Ashley Beedle's mixes will be less than stellar.

Did the Ashley Beedle remix ever get a digital release?

I haven't listened yet because I can't get to the link at work. Unless there's a Youtube version or something.

Thanks.
That is actually quite nice. I wouldn't say I like it better than Beedle's version, but this is quite a nice, chilled take on it. I'll have to give it a few more listens, but might pick it up.

my thoughts as well. Beedle's is a timeless classic and I think this remix did a nice job of keeping a retro almost electro feel to it. Very synthy and I like it.

I like the Mighty Mouse remix nearly as much as Beedle's remix. A lovely laid back version updating the track in just the right places yet not butchering it.

Yes. On two different releases. Bent's Go! Kommando EP and Classic Remixes 2, both of which were originally released also on cd and/or 12". Available at least on Junodownload and DJdownload right now.

The best version of the song is the Danny Howells edit that layered the amazing Lisa Stansfield vocal of People hold on over the top of it.
An absolute masterpiece IMO
