Protean? Ewww... sounds like a weird name

Looks very intriguing, I'll listen to it after all Mag's sets.

Hey, that's the Crosstown Rebels logo font, isn't it?

What the name of that font?

Thanks man, although I was wrong...it's not exactly the same font as the one in the Crosstown Rebels logo but it's very similar.

I had a longer review typed out, but my browser closed and I lost it.

So I'll summarize what I was talking about. This isn't your normal prog-psy set or anything, it's more like some harder, melodic, progressive acid-trance. I think you're really pushing out of your comfort zone on a lot of levels, 2 tech trance mixes in the span of 4-5 months, interesting techy-psy mixes like this. I really dig your style recently, dude. With the exception of the cheesy vocal trance you spin sometimes, I enjoy a large body of your work. Don't worry about it, I have a reputation for spinning some cheesy full-on also, but I'm trying to rid myself of that

In this mix, I enjoyed 33 minutes, 47 minutes, 60 minutes (even tho the transition seemed a bit rushed). Everything was really chunky, interesting music. I liked this quite a bit. What genre/sub-genre would you consider this stuff? I know Rumble Pack makes some proggy full-on, but it didn't sound like that this time around.

Excellent work, Kr00t0n, hope you like my set too!

Cheers dude, this certainly was an idea of mashing together a bunch of tracks I like that don't necessarily conform to generic genre traits. Glad you liked it as a result

I just like to keep things varied (plus it takes time to amass enough decent new trance to do a normal trance mix )

You mix is in my mix queue, and my new mix should be up tomorrow

Listened to this today. Hmmm, it was odd.

The first track until the 30th minute weren't my taste to say the least. The transitions were a bit lazy as well and you kept the tracks going for way too long imo. That part was very bad for me.

Then in the 30th minute a track comes that get the things started a bit. The next tracks were nothing special (the mixing was not the best but ok). It just felt it goes nowhere and it did for me. Interesting idea but it didnt work for me so far.

The last tracks were good and I enjoyed them the most. Pretty much this is your style of play and I like it. My favorite part of the set by far.

Overall I think this isnt among your best sets. I was actually disappointed here. Expecting a compensation in the form of a beautiful psy set from you hehe, just like some of your previous ones! Cheers!
