Very nice mix with some solid tunes. I especially liked the one right after the breaks track (I think it's track 5 - Tomic - Tears of joy, am I right?) and the other Tomic track (I think).

Mixing was good, although I would have picked some transition points differently.

Oh, and I thought you let Aftermath playing for a little too long.

Apart from that, a very enjoyable mix that will definitely get some rotation.

Very, very nice mix. All the prog I've listened to lately has been set at a lower tempo, but this was quite upbeat from the start. It got my attention straight away, is probably a better way of saying it. Perhaps more the tunes used, rather than a significantly higher BPM?

What was that breaky-ish track quite early in? Really liked that.

You don't make many mixes, so I guess you put a lot of thought into the tracks you're using. Do you ever spin live? What sort of stuff do you play then? Do you ever record them?

Thanks mate. That track was indeed Tears of Joy. I definitely agree with you that some of the transitions could have been placed better, especially with Aftermath, however my hand was forced (or perhaps I'm not good enough) because some of the tracks had very strong patterns or overwhelming elements which made them tough to mix out of earlier.

Thank you too, sir. The break-ish track was Thousand Worlds. You might want to pick up his album, it has a few tracks like that on it.

Regarding my mixes, yes, I put a lot of thought into them. I'm hamstrung as a DJ because I have a very rigid idea of what works and what doesn't (in reality I could probably be a lot more flexible), and as a result I have to plan very carefully and have a small output. I've played 'out' a few times at clubs but never really pushed myself too hard, so it's never amounted to anything. I have never had a live set recorded either, and I haven't played out in about a year or so.

When I do play house parties and clubs, I tend to play sets pretty much exactly like this, though with a bit more genre hopping. I don't really play trance, though I wouldn't mind doing psy if someone offered me an appropriate gig.

Gave it a listen on the way into work and it was very nice. Your mixing and flow, as usual, were spot on pretty much all the way through. What are you using to mix btw, CDs?

A few of the tracks weren't really to my tastes, but on the whole I could get down to a lot of this stuff. Lots of really lush upliftingesque stuff which is quite refreshing next to all the dark bleepbloop k-hole tech I'm used to listening to. Thanks a lot for sharing man, looking forward to your next installment.
