I was discussing random shit with my gf (sounds a bit straight, I know, but don't jump to conclusions yet).

The conversation began with music video clips, then progressed through a number of topics. Topics included such areas as misogynism in Hollywood, Michael Bay, and the 'pretty boy' phenomenon.

I think he's a prettyboy.

Barely any acting skills, no 'character' to put into a role, but cast because of his looks. My gf disagrees. She doesn't find him 'pretty' looking at all (we agreed he has little-to-no talent though).

I want your thoughts on this, COR. Is Shia Lebeouf a prettyboy? Or not so much?

I also want you to post all the actor-types that you consider to be 'prettyboys', since we've disagreed on some, lol.

I stopped reading when you said Michael Bay. But yeah, I haven't really watched any films with Shia, so I can't really rate his ability [not even The Battle of Shaker Heights]. But I believe you. Fuck that curly-haired dick, you know?

I suppose Keanu Reeves falls into this prettyboy category, as well. I know kung-fu.

Decaprio just got type-cast into the pretty boy role when he got older, in which there is absolutely no acting necessary or possible.. Hes actually pretty great though, if he gets a role that doesn't just require being attractive...
