FL Question

I just got a new hard drive and haven't really messed with fruity loops very much until today. I found out that if I try and play a song I made on my old hard drive that it sounds distorted. Also, on my old hard drive I wasn't able to listen to music from anything else when fruity loops was open. On my new one I can. So is there a way to like allow FL to use more system resources so that it doesn't distort?

What system specs do you have?

You can always try to switch off any unused effects in FL to gain some performance (Check the macro's -> smart disable).

Try increasing your soundcard latency in the settings.
