noob with Traktor

Hey so I bought a new desktop pc, new speakers, plugged in an old soundcard whose name is "Creative Sound Blaster Audigy SE" (I think it's one of the first versions of the Audigys or something, bought it cheap about 3 or 4 years ago) and now I figured I'd try some basic mixing with it, with Traktor. Problem is, I only have the master output channels, I have no monitor channels. I can't beatmatch and preview tracks like this.

Now I'm not actually sure this soundcard is supposed to have two separate stereo outputs, but I figure it does - specially since in the Windows sound volume thing, I can pick two separate volume bars for speakers and for headphones:

But in Traktor:

Only 2 of the 4 channels (left, right + left, right) show up. Mind you, the soundcard DOES have several physical outputs, I'm just not sure they work as separate, lol.

My guess it's because I'm using a version and I've read somewhere Traktor messes up those versions like that. Another possibility is that the drivers are fucking it up, because I'm using some dodgy drivers for Vista that I don't even remember where I got them from. Apparently this soundcard doesn't like Vista very much.

Any ideas? Is there any workaround? Maybe another software I can try?

Btw before people tell me to die in a fire for using , while they're paying 5000 euros for their precious and hard-earned pro gear, in my defence I'm just trying to learn some half-assed home mixing for fun. Not trying to start a proper dj career now.

Wait, I got it. I installed Asio4All, messed with some settings and now I can listen to stuff on the headphones separately, inside of Traktor. Awesome.

Problem is, it's still not 100% separate. The track that is playing as "CUE" only plays in the headphones, which is right, but the track that is playing as master plays in both the speakers and the headphones. I want the track as master to play only in the speakers. I've messed with a zillion settings and it's screwing my head up lol.

Theirs a knob that controls the mix in the headphones. You can have it 100% cue, 100% master, or a mix of both.

If your soundcard doesn't have to stereo channels there's an easy way around this, if you're only mixing for yourself that is. This won't work in any sort of live environment.

It's fairly straight forward really. All you do is assign the master to your left channel and your cue to the right channel. Then set the cue mix to 50%, and you should here the music your playing centered in your headphones, and then you get your cue in your right ear, just sitting there. It's the way I used to do it before I got a "real setup".

Haven't found such knob yet in Traktor.

I think it's because the soundcard is 5.1, I'm using the rear speakers output for the headphones, and as might you know, sometimes in certain surround systems the rear speakers get a lower volume output of what's going on in the front speakers. That's exactly what's happening here, I'm getting a lower volume output of what's going on in the master channel, except there should be a setting somewhere to stop this behaviour. And I only managed to get all of this shit to work through ASIO4ALL, so in theory the setting should be there in ASIO4ALL, but it isn't.

Yeah but that way the mix is in mono.

Not if you record it using Traktors own Native thing. If you record the sound output live, then yes, but you don't have to do that using traktor.

After lots of frustration and a look at the manual, I found the freaking knob. PhMix and PhVol control the headphones. Thanks.
