Underrated software FX plugs

I'm on the hunt for some under the radar (assumably cheaper than the likes of Waves Mercury) FX. I currently use Nomad Factory's Blue Tubes like its going out of style but I'd like to expand my collection. Anybody here have any suggestions? (No Waves, Sonnolkis, Sonnox)

Have been looking at some of the PSP products.

What kind of FX are you looking for? Mixing FX, like EQs, compressors, etc.? Reverbs, delays, etc? Filters? Everything?

I think I mentioned this in another thread, but I'll repeat it - the Wave Arts Power Suite 5 bundle is tough to beat for a good all-around mixing bundle IMO. Their channel strip is incredible - two compressors w/built-in sidechaining, EQ, de-essing/de-popping, gating, limiting, killer interface, etc. It also comes with a ton of presets that are actually useful as starting points (i.e., not just there to show of the extremes of its capabilities). One of the cool things about their EQ is that it has brickwall (90-degree!) hi/lo-pass filters! Their reverb is also incredible. No dongles or intrusive copyright protection. Demo the PS5 bundle and you'll probably buy it.

I guess I could be more specific. I think all suggestions arn't a bad idea as I will read about them at the very least, and I'm sure there are many others who are looking for quality FX that doesn't cost 4 digits.

Specifically, I want good saturation, vitalizers, chorus, etc. FX to make my sounds "FAT AND WARM"

For compressors, delays, filters, etc.... I use mostly Nomad Blue Tubes. A wicked (unique) filter would be cool I suppose. I saw where you grabbed the Fabfilter bundle. I did read up on that but not interested. Not interested in Camelspace either. There isn't a software filter i've been happy with besides the Largo, which I sold (just my luck). I'm pretty sure I'll end up getting a true analog filter to go on my new rack unless I can find a strong one before hand.

Come to think of it, I would like an EQ with like 50 bands on it for more precision. Can't believe we don't see a large selection of EQ plug ins that have several bands on them. You'd think producers would demand more autonomy with frequency isolation being so vital.

try the demo I have it, and I really like it. Perfect interface, and very good clean sound.

Stephen - have you checked out the Tone2 plugins? Warmverb is my go-to multi-FX unit and FilterBank 2 is incredible (I like it much better than CamelSpace). Great prices on these - check out the demos if you haven't already.

HereŽs another eq that has more or less the same interface as algorithmix, and IŽd say
it sounds quite similar! And the best thing is, you decide how much you wanna pay for it

http://www.ddmf.eu/

The IIEQ pro is the standard insert eq you would use on every channel, and the LP10
is a phase linear eq, that is more suited for "mastering".

Not necessarily underrated since theirs a 100+ page about it on KVR but I still don't think it's that well known.
