Danny Howells - Gvibe EP (Dig Deeper) OUT NOW...

To mark this turning point in Dig Deeper’s journey, Danny Howells brings forth the summer slammers that will soundtrack the years festivals and club nights perfectly. All three releases here have never surfaced until this moment and have been frantically tune ID’d on message boards across the world since Danny started dropping them in his set back at this years WMC. 3 tracks, 3 twists on what is known as house music…all sexy, all sassy, and all good!

Gvibe is first up and is a deep, driving and solid builder. Slowly building upon layers of sweet grooves and melodies, Gvibe is proving to be a popular track for Danny is his sets with a intense crowd reaction every time when played out.

Psychoticbump has a cosmic disco edge that will light up the White Isle for sure. Its riff has a slight electro element and with its disco drums and strings working into the arrangement so tight, this track builds and drops like a future classic should.

Completing the package is Long Hot Summer, a dreamy house track that is a neat tool for DJs to shift from one sound to another as it sits perfectly in between the different spectrum's of house music and has also been a stable part of Danny’s DJ sets of the last 8 months receiving a solid response when played out.

not feeling 'g vibe', the meat of the track works but the break is questionable and doesn't work.
liking psychotic bump, it's a nice italo-inspired throwback with a balearic tone to it
long hot summer is evidently an early 90's house throwback and it's alright. doesn't do much for me though

i'll probably pick up psychotic bump.

all of em are nice n good, yet theyre not outstanding. but there's no need for that with Howells' phenomenal mixing

House was ooit house. Waar ongelovigen toch predikten “God made me funky, and I’m glad He blessed me this way”.
