In reality, it’s providing a voucher that can be used at an area gun store, According to Mark Muller, the owner of Max Motors, in an interview with CNN (via Slashdot), an AK-47 can cost $450 to $500.

Mr. Muller added that the dealership sold around 35 more cars last year with the handgun promotion. And he said he hoped to sell 100 trucks with the new promotion.

The handgun was bizarre enough, but a deluded person might imagine they could use it for protection during their long trips across the country... and, what do you know, it may be occasionally useful for that purpose.
