How would you be able to transport stuff? That's impossible or else you would also have the ability to make replicas of things as well.
ie: instead of 'shipping' a vinyl to you over the teleporter, they could just duplicate one to you. You could duplicate money too, so there goes the economy. Seriously, I don't think this technology will go further than signal/data transmissions. Just my 2 cents.

ive studied this before and its not really teleporting... a machine makes a copy of the object by destroying it and remakes it at the other end. if it was a human your really killing yourself and the machine at the other end remakes you. in other sense its just like cloning. so i dont think you would want to do that to yourself. but its good for non living objects like if your girlfriend starts whining that she wants ice cream you can just teleport it to her.

wow!!!! now the only thing to do is to develop it and release it for public and private use..... lol.....
that way, you can teleport into clubs without paying the fee.
