In the UK the DJM800 retails at about £525 more than the A&H. That's a lot of money. It's about $800.
Now assume you're in the market to buy a new mixer, some will buy a Xone, some will buy an 800. Nothing wrong with that - it's just personal preference.
All we're doing is swapping, and financially he's better off - he's paid less in the long run for the mixer he wants. I on the other hand have paid more for the mixer I will end up with. I can't really see why everyone thinks he's crazy - he wants effects, I don't anymore - everyone is happy.
As it happens, the mixers were only about £200 different when we both purchased - but still, there was a difference. |
OK we were exaggerating, but still who in their right mind would trade a 92 for an 800? He comes out on top financially but still...
