Yes, Maschine will import .wavs, but you can't currently drag the MIDI into your host and arrange it there (yet). However, the 1.1 update that is currently in beta testing is going to add a bunch of new features and there is speculation (and a lot of hope) that this will be possible. Quite frankly, that's one of my only disappointments with it, but it's a big one. That said, it's still very useable with its current workflow (i.e., arranging sequences/songs with its internal sequencer/arranger).
As others have mentioned, Guru is probably what you're looking for. BTW, MOTU BPM also does not let you drag MIDI clips into your host - everything is arranged in its internal step sequencer/song arranger similar to Maschine.
